1st grade
Making predictions worksheets for first grade tell little stories that stop right before the ending: a balloon blown too big, a sled at the top of a hill. Your child picks what happens next and the clue that says so. Every story's clues point one clear way.

2nd grade Core grade
Each click picks one of the 26 passages written for this grade. Every sheet comes with its answer key. You don't need to sign up.
Second grade prediction passages add real-world clues: storm clouds piling up, geese gathering to fly south. Your child predicts the outcome and matches it to its evidence, which is the difference between guessing and predicting.

3rd grade
Third grade passages hold more moving parts, and the questions ask for the prediction AND its support: what will happen, which clue points there, and what a character will probably decide. The stories still stop before the ending, because the ending is your child's job.
