Blank division chart

A blank division chart prints every division question from the ÷ 1 to the ÷ 12 tables with a line where the answer goes. The child fills the 144 quotients and checks them against the completed chart on page 2.

What is on the sheet

The table below is the sheet as it prints with these options: ÷ 1 to ÷ 12.

The printed sheet leaves some cells empty. This is the filled chart, the same one that prints as the answer key on page 2.

Filling it in

Work one table at a time, top to bottom, and the quotients come out as 1, 2, 3 and so on; the point of the exercise is seeing that pattern while writing it. Then cover the table and try a few facts out of order. A 3rd grader can usually fill the ÷ 1 to ÷ 5 tables in one sitting and the rest across a week.

The page holds 144 short lines, so it is a longer sheet than most. Choose the ÷ 1 to ÷ 10 version for a shorter session.

Checking it

Page 2 prints the same tables complete, with the quotients marked, so the sheets can be laid side by side. Facts that were wrong in two tables tend to share a divisor, which tells you which multiplication table to revisit.

Common questions

Can it be filled in more than once?
Print it as often as you like; every print is the same sheet. Slip it in a page protector and use a dry-erase marker for a reusable copy.
