Inflectional endings (-ed sounds) worksheets

Each print is a different sheet with its own answer key. You don't need to sign up.

The ending -ed has three voices: it says t in jumped, d in played, and id in wanted. The last sound of the base word picks the voice.

Two grades, one set of words: both print from the same 30. Print one here, or open a grade for examples and teaching notes.

Second graders sort the three sounds fast and read -ed words in text without adding extra syllables, the giveaway error this practice removes.
