The kind of problems you'll get

Solve each problem. Write your answer on the line.

  1. 3 × 4 =

    Answer: 12

  2. 4 × 2 =
  3. 5 × 5 =

Every print pulls a fresh set of problems at this level, so a make-up test or a second sibling never gets the same sheet.

What's on each sheet

Every version prints on US Letter or A4, with its answer key on the last page.

How to teach this

Start with one fact family at a time (all the ×3 facts, for example). Say the fact aloud, write it, then check. If your child hesitates more than three seconds, mark it for extra practice rather than letting them guess.

Watch for: Kids assume multiplying always makes numbers bigger, but 0 × 8 = 0 and 1 × 8 = 8 break that rule, so watch the zeros and ones. Kids treat 3 × 7 and 7 × 3 as different problems. The order never changes the product, so learning one fact gives you both.
