First graders choose the order word each story moment needs, W.1.3's temporal words: first, next, then, finally, in stories they can picture.

2nd grade Core grade
Each print is a different sheet with its own answer key. You don't need to sign up.
Second graders use a fuller set (after that, soon, later, meanwhile) to keep multi-step stories in line, W.2.3.

3rd grade
Third graders choose sequence words with nuance, suddenly, at last, the next day, W.3.3.c's signal of event order.
