The same cat is in every picture. What changes is where it is, and that is the word to write.
Three grades, two different sets of pictures: kindergarten and 1st grade share one. Print one here, or open a grade for examples and teaching notes.

Preschool Core grade
Each print is a different sheet. You don't need to sign up.
Position words say where something is: on, in, under, beside, behind. Preschoolers use them long before they can read them. This sheet gives a three or four year old six pictures of the same cat, and the word to trace under each one.
-
Kindergarten
Position words, or positional words, say where one thing sits in relation to another. The same cat appears in all six pictures on this sheet, so the only thing a child has to read is where it is, and then write the word for it: under, beside, behind, in front of, between, far from.

1st grade
By first grade position words are written into sentences, not just spoken. This sheet is the vocabulary underneath that: six pictures of one cat, a word bank, and a line under each picture. Every print rotates the order, so a second sheet is real practice.
