Liquid volume and mass worksheets

Each print is a different sheet with its own answer key. You don't need to sign up.

Read the scale carefully: find the marked numbers, work out what one small tick is worth, and count from the last marked number. For estimates, picture the object next to something whose measure you know.

Liquid volume and mass worksheets for third grade come in two kinds. One shows a schematic scale, a container marked in liters or a weight scale marked in grams or kilograms, and asks for the reading, and mixes in estimates: about how much does a mop bucket hold, about how much does a hardcover book weigh. The other gives one-step word problems in grams, kilograms, and liters to solve. Six problems per sheet, and every print draws new readings, objects, and situations.
