Every letter has a shape and a home on the lines: tall letters touch the top, small letters live in the middle, and tails hang below.

Kindergarten Core grade
Each print is a different sheet. You don't need to sign up.
Kindergartners learn to print upper- and lowercase letters (L.K.1.a), and the guides on this sheet do the quiet teaching: a top line, a dashed middle line, and a bottom line every letter sits on. Each print draws a fresh handful of letters, traced twice and then written alone.

1st grade
First graders finish the set: all 52 letterforms (L.1.1.a), written smaller and steadier. The sheet stays the same and the guides do the fading; by now the dashed midline, not the traced model, is doing most of the work.
